I am fortunate to be a Vermont Teacher because of the Rowland Teacher Fellowship. As a member of the 2022-23 cohort, I have the privilege of taking a paid sabbatical for the year to develop the “Environmental Mathematics and Action” program for my high school. I will also be posting updates to the blog about my research, developing geographic information systems (GIS) projects, outdoor adventures to explore Vermont wilderness, and implementation during the 2023-23 school year. This will develop the mapping components that link to my Fulbright Project.
